Who we are

A Not for Profit consortium of companies and government agencies – called ‘Part of the Solution’ - whose goal is the promotion and adoption of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) technology to improve urban air quality.

The primary objective for ‘Part of the Solution’ is to build awareness among the fleet community that environmentally friendly vehicles exist today in the form of Hybrid Electric and Electric vehicles.

The secondary objective of this initiative is to assist fleets in acquiring this technology today. Through customized financial assistance this program will promote adoption and spark a paradigm shift within the commercial transportation sector.

Rather than waiting to be legislated into taking action on such environmental issues as greenhouse gas emissions, more and more companies are inventing new ways of doing business that positively affects the ‘triple bottom line’ of people, planet and profit. A growing number of executives agree that sustainability is the number one challenge facing business and society today.
